This is a very popular driver’s education program. It is a 15 hours classroom and 10 hours on the road (behind-the-wheel) package that is a standard program approved by the government. Upon successfully completing the program, the student receives a certificate from our school. The certificate is recognized by insurance companies for discount!
It is recommended that students enroll in the classroom first prior to starting their in-car lessons, in order that students can get a better idea on what they will be doing on the road.
For the in-car driving, we offer FREE pick up and drop off any where in the city of Calgary, the towns close by, and Pick up from home, school or work. As for the classroom instruction, you will have to arrange your own transportation.
This program is good for:
Teenagers with class 7 learner permit who have never driven, or driven little bit or intermediate
Adults with class 7 learner permit who have never driven, or driven a little bit or intermediate
After taking the 10 hours or prior to the last 2 hours of in-car, the student, if ready, may wish to go for the road test. Our school offers a free mock test and will prepare the student for the road test! Students may rent the car for the road test from our school for $55.
Please Note: Road test are not done at the school but we can book appointments for road tests. We book road test appointments at Southland Registry . Prior to road test, you would need to purchase a road test permit at the registry. If you have a road test after your in-car session, the drop off point will be at the registry, and thus, you must arrange your own transportation from the registry.

Our instructors listen to what the problem are and concentrate on correcting them as well as improving any other area you feel need to be addressed Some common problem areas are: Parallel parking, backing up, Highway driving ,Merging and Downtown driving. Refresher Course
Refresher Lesson -2 Hour Session for $120 GST Included
This is a 2 hours session on the road (behind-the-wheel). You will be picked from home, school or work any where in the city… and FREE drop off too! Instructor will assess how many sessions you may require. It’s totally tailored towards the individual needs.
The lesson is intended for:
Those who need to brush-up their driving skills
Those who are nervous drivers wanting to gain confidence on the road
Those who are wanting to go for the road test (GDL class 5 license), but would like preparation first
Those who are wanting to go for the Advance road test (full class 5 license), but would like preparation first
Those who arrived from outside Canada and wanting to feel comfortable and confident with the Traffic Laws in Alberta and the Calgary Municipal traffic by-laws.
After taking the refresher course, the student, if ready, may wish to go for the road test. Our school offers a free mock test and will prepare the student for the road test! Students may rent the car for the road test from our school for $55.

Proactive/Defensive Driving-Defensive Driving Course-3 Demerit Points Reduction
Fee: $95 GST Included
This is a 7 hours government approved classroom instruction. Interactive discussions on defensive driving skills are discussed in details. Booklets and instructional materials are provided. Films on driving safely, responsibly and defensively are shown. Upon successfully completing the program, student receives certificate from our school. The certificate will help eliminate 3 demerit points from your driving record.
This program is good for:Holders of operating license who have accumulated a lot of demerit points
Holders of operating license who are intending to drive taxi / limousine or for other employer use.
Give your employees the Defensive Driving Course (DDC) and help them join the ranks of most safety-conscious drivers on the road.
For employees who drive either a company vehicle or their own vehicle on the job, safe driving is a matter of occupational safety. However, an estimated nine out of 10 time-lose injuries happen off the job, not counting employees who take time off to care for an injured family member.
